People overlook the fact that Wyoming carries this country on coal. I think WV politicians are living in the past. Look at Wyoming’s energy production. Wind, solar, coal, and oil. You can’t go anywhere in Wyoming without finding someone whose got their hands in one of those energy sources. WV needs to go outside their comfort zone and step up their game. Too many people die for too little coal production in wv. Wyoming pulls almost half this country’s coal from its ground. Wake up.

Right off the bat, they refered to the united states as america.america is a continent.

Where else can someone with a 10th grade education start out in a job paying $100,000+ in the 60s, until they are laid off for a few years (like now).
Great video till Obama appeared yuk
Fossil fuels are obsolete. We ONLY use them because those that own them want to sell them.
basically rational people aren't against mining coal, they are against irresponsible methods of mining coal that results in the devastation of an area. Likewise rational people that mine coal would surely prefer not to do it in a way that would not taint the very area they live in. I don't believe the miners go work happy to remove a mountain or pollute the water. Rather they are going to work to run a dozer or a truck or some piece of equipment. The end result just happens to be damage because that's what their job contributes to. As has been stated many times, it's the corporate greed and the ability to take damage and penalties as just a cost of doing business. It's sad how the love of money displays itself.
Jesco got it figured out
Thats energy- thats life- being exported to the rest of the world- and taken away from the Appalachian people- if i want to heat my home with coal i have to get it from tractor supply for nearly a dollar a pound- 30 years ago it was 50$ a ton
I have spent time in the mountains and coal towns of W.V. serving the people there through God's work and it is truly God's country and should be treated as such, protected and preserved for future generations but the lust of money by giant corporations is destroying the land there. They are destroying the people and their culture. I have this to say to the corporations - your lust of money and blatant disregard for the land is shameful and a disgrace and will not get you into heaven.
The Corporations and Government treat poor and White Christians like animals. Does anyone believe that they would dare treat the people of Marin County California in this manner? This would never happen where the rich elite live. Boycott is the answer. Short of violent conflict, Boycotting is the only tool you have that is effective. Everyone has to come together and get on the same page.
Our Coal mining industry in Britain was destroyed by Margaret Thatcher and successive Governments have done nothing to help it. Now, our electricity is supplied by foreign agencies and stupid wind farms. There was a huge blackout last week in England and this will only get worse. At least Donald Trump is trying to save the coal industry in America.
In this land we had it so good; until the Democrats showed up and told us we were poverty stricken. That was when the Democrats brought in the Death of Drugs. Dam The Democrats!
TRUMP 2020!
I cannot believe some SOB would take their livelihood and their way of living from them . I LOVE THE APPALACHIAN S my Mrs 's family is from those near by hills and they are great people and this hits so close to home here in Wisconsin we have strip mining removing our only filter system from our rich farm country soil and they clean and treat the sand just like they do coal which is bullshit because we just had a leve break and run off into one of our best fishing holes close to home but again the Government will turn their back . GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND GOD BLESS APPALACHIA.
Government wants and keeps those towns poor and jobless. The government pretty much use the community as a slavery community. Either you mine or starve they cld care less
I hate tree huggers go wipe your ass with plastic
It's the most beautiful places in the world up there
