My father ran a drill for over 20 years at strip mine in welch WV
The coal corporations have made my people a sacrifice for their riches they should be locked up
Natural gas is putting a end to coal. Hopefully these miners can find a new jobs, maybe mining lithium.
Jeff Bridges is great in this.
Huntington, junkies, heroin, fentanil, overdoses, death and no jobs. This is no longer w.va., coal is DEAD.
The Electric generation plants are all slated for closure. 16 closures in 2019. More to follow. All the easy coal by stripmining is gone. Deep mines are old, dangerous and expensive to dig. It's cheaper to import it. The economy is gone here. Massey helped finish it off. America no longer runs on coal. Technology has passed them by.
God has left the building
BIG GOVERNMENT JUST FUCKS OVER THE PEOPLE GLOBALLY!🤨🤨🤨🤨
TERRIBLE WHEN MINERS DIE TRYING MAKING A LIVING, PUT FOOD ON THEIR TABLES TO FEED THEIR FAMILIES!😪😪😪😪😪
God bless the miners. Obama could care less. He tried to shut you down. I’m glad we have a President now that thinks of us people who keep America moving. God Bless America.
To me that’s not mining why can’t they do under ground mining instead of tearing this place apart they don’t want to do underground cause it takes more people to run they can tear a mountain apart with a few people and equipment instead of doing it the right way they might have to hire a lot of people it’s called corporate greed to all the miners doing a job not to many would want to do Rest In Peace brave men and women
tragic and yet, karma for an in bred culture.
Sad thing that Massy exploitation. My in laws were/ are miners. Scared the hell out of me. Thing about miners, they will help you, even if they don’t know you, they pray with you, they are family men. They love god, family, and country. Massy has multiple coal mine violations in the mine that exploded, they have multiple violations with strip mining, yet they still get to operate. The family’s that lost their loved ones didn’t get much if anything at all. Massy needs to be shut down, and the owner in jail.
Wasn't a fan of Obama but I'm glad he showed up to pay his respects.
Home sweet home!!
if the greedy american corporations get away with doing this in the United States, imagine what horrors they do abroad in countries where the corrupt leaders put there by the US government along with the CIA, all for profit
John prine paradise search that on you tube
God Bless West Virginia and Pennsylvania's Coal Miners. This country would never have become what is without coal and the sacrifices these men made to bring it out of the ground!
Dec 28, 2019: My boyfriend, Manuel R. Martinez, was working at the Farmington, New Mexico mine when he was killed in an auto accident in Aug 1975. Manuel, a former Marine rolled his 240Z Datsun south of Santa Fe as he returned to Albuquerque from a long work week. *1) For God did not send his Son Jesus into the world to condemn the world but to save it. John 3:17; and 2) In Christ we have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. Ephesians 1:7 Katrina
Coal miner equals dead..
White collar people think blue collar people are expendable just to be used to make white collar richer and then the blue collar are discarded
Song at 9:06?
