About: Operating Flagg Coal 75 Steam Locomotive

Dude, you are so lucky to get the opportunity to do this, I'm seriously jealous. I hope I get the opportunity to operate a steam engine someday to in the future, but I actually did get to ride in a steam engine cab before, back in October 2014. At the Conway Scenic Railroad in my home state, it's an 0-6-0 switcher type engine with a tender, named Canadian National #7470, it still operates to this day. Now that was a great opportunity it got to have four years ago, I just hope one day I will get to operate a steam engine someday, but I did get to blow the whistle on her on the ride back to the station too. Still, you did a great job operating this old girl, I especially laughed at the smiley face on the back of the engine. Barney alway's hates that smiley face, LOL. Happy Birthday too by the way, even thought it already went by!
lol barney hates it when they put a smiley face on the back of the train
I didn't know the SRI offered this! I hope they do next year it would be a dream to operate the 1225! - Set
I'd love to operate a steam Loco someday
Nice. Some people have loads of luck of just getting into a locomotive when it's standing still, but it's even more rare to DRIVE one! That must of been thrilling for you to drive this small engine. Great video and happy railfanning to you. :)
I'm not even going to ask about the smile face on the back.
You're so lucky! Getting at the throttle with "Hank" must've been real awesome.
I'm getting to do this tomorrow! It's at Mad River & NKP railroad museum in Bellevue Ohio, and it's their 40th anniversary, so yeah!
Great Job Casey! Hope you had a wonderful time, it's certainly an experience you'll never forget! Were you able to make it up into 1225's cab on Sunday?
Good job Casey Jones! I was your fireman that day.
I did not even know that America had tank engines well that what you call them in Great Britain
Awesome! Glad you got to do that man!
If that's you in the glasses, you did OUTSTANDING! Also Happy Birthday Casey!
For how young you are, you did a good job running 75 there. Awesome video!
Casey, why did u not give a hornshow? Barney didn't care, in fact, I gave a hornshow every time I passed the spectators.
Anyways, great video!
P.S. I never got to get out to the open house, and I did not get this much footage.
Dang I wished I could have went up there. Didn't get tickets in time
