About: Is Waiting for Coal Jobs a Mistake?

trump just sold you out to the Chinese frackers for 83 bill.
While more people are buying solar panels and inverters? Trumpsters have no clue! Coal is obsolete. Like Trump!
switch to growing hemp.
If a politician wants to help Appalachia and re-enfranchise the people that live there, they need to support paid reparations, by the mining companies, to the people whose property they lifted, whose lives were lost, whose remaining property saw its value plummet, and whose future and hope was taken and destroyed by Big Coal. This is a region, very rich in mineral wealth, but under Capitalism it has seen its population subjected to mass deprivation and abject poverty.
Aren't these the jackasses who keep saying it's not the governments place to give people jobs? Oh, now that they are the ones hurting, now is perfectly fine for the incompetent government to spend my tax dollars to get you jobs. Not so easy when the shoe is on the other foot, is it?
The coal jobs have been going down since 1923 . There are better ways to heat , coal is not coming back .
His argument against coal jobs assumes they believe in climate change. What really matters to them is that economically their jobs are at least going due to automation and natural gas. They are screwed even if you just look at the economics.
Yuppers, 20 yrs from now the coal miners/workers will be complaining of black lung disease again, wanting to be compensated or someone to pay for their medical treatment.
China has millions of solar jobs in manufacturing and installation. The only big solar manufacturer that is not based in China is Canadian solar which does most of its manufacturing is China. Is waiting for coal jobs a mistake. Is believing Trump a mistake. Yes to both. Hillary had a plan to train coal workers to install solar and committed $3 billion. Then walked it back because she probably realized that the idiots in Kentucky would still vote for the orange one.
David Yurth developed the technology to clean emissions.
Jobs are a mistake.
Even trump was succesful, automation will fill most of those jobs.
Finance has distorted the worlds reality. We may have one hundred years of Coal but we no longer have the higher quality Coal. Older Power Plants are shutting down because they were designed to burn Anthracite, Bituminous and Sub-Bituminous Coal. To burn the lower quality Coals, Gas or Oil the plants have to be totally redesigned. We think we can print up and throw endless amounts of money at reality and we can mold it however we want. Reality check, it doesn't work. We're going to have to radically readjust our society and radically change how we view work but that doesn't appear to be high on the agenda. Three people in America have as much wealth as the bottom 150 million citizens, considering the tax cuts the wealthy wants and the amount they keep offshore this isn't enough. The unwillingness of the Government to provide Health care for all and an Environment conducive to life means we aren't a priority to them either. Maybe people will wake up before it's to late and demand more.
The ONLY way to fight the censorship of YT/FB/Twitter/Google is to MASS EXODUS to alternative platforms. THEY CANNOT CENSOR WHAT THEY DO NOT CONTROL!!!
This is so simple that itvdefys ligic ehy people keep creating content on these platforms??? 😳🤔
Those alternative platforms are out there!!!
They’ve already demonetized most so why stay? 🤔 Again, no logic here.

Try D Tube, Steemit, Bitchute, MeWe - whatever!!!

We only have as much power as WE CHOOSE to use!

What would happen to the stocks of these platforms if there was a mass exodus of them all ON THE SAME DAY? THEY’D BE IN FINANCIAL RUIN.

I simply can’t stand listening to content creators constantly talk about being victimized but do nothing but create a backup channel on the same platform! Seriously? How is this helping anyone???
Coal is the fuel of past centuries. Coal was great when it was new for 150 years. Make America progress again. The future and the economy always belong to innovation. Be a great American, find a new job that leads the future. Nobody is proud of how dentistry was done a 100 years ago either, but the people back then loved it.
There's no such thing as "fossil" fuel. Same thing goes for this "planet" spinning ball horse 💩
There is massive job potential in alternative energy, solar panels have to be manufactured and installed, wind power the same, batteries the same. And other things like building improvements to make them resistent to natural disasters, infrstructure. There is no reason for people who worked with coal to be unemployed.
Reforestation projects, solar panel farms, windmill farms
coal is dead. its economics folks.
What if we can produce all our energy from biomass on 3 million acres?

Coal stock

Coal is extracted from the ground by coal mining, either underground by shaft mining, or at ground level by open pit mining extraction.

Coal is primarily used as a solid fuel to produce electricity and heat through combustion. World coal consumption was about 7.25 billion tonnes in 2010 The price of coal increased from around $30.00 per short ton in 2000 to around $150.00 per short ton as of September 2008. In early 2015, it was trading near $56/ton.
