How is it possible that I discovered this channel only today, although being interested in all things spatial since Day One???
Much wiser to direct all these efforts towards Mars. At least there are some fashions of possible permanent habitation. Currently Mars has most all of the same obstacles it also holds more possibilities.
Remember = RINGS LIKE A BELL - the moon is hollow and it is a satellite put there by some ancient civilization - maybe the Annunnaki who used the moon when they were sending gold back to the home planet of Nibiru . Some Cosmic Event destroyed the many large cities that were there under huge glass domes - one city was the size of LA . On the back side - building complexes built by who ? The large ancient spaceship filmed by the Apollo Missions that is 3000 meters long and 2x times as tall as the Eiffel Tower in Paris . The mummified pilot was recovered and given the name Mona Lisa . maybe this spaceship is 1 billion years old - who knows ?

The communication tower on the back side that is 100 miles tall and has been air brushed out of pictures published . Lights on the moon everywhere at night time ? What else is going on up there at this time ?
It is simple. Americans looking for diesel. Next gonna be McDonald there.....
A vision of unity and focus on community and cooperation could create a wider civilization in space. Just think of what we could do if we stopped fighting each other. All the money and focus on defense and destruction directed towards human progress and expansion.
One correction from a political perspective: We don't build industry on earth to produce things but to get people into work. Its a political question... So about "Phase 2" we need to answer the question "where are the moon politicians" 😁
Moon is 3-4 days away. We have a much better chance of rectifying unforeseen situations than on a planet like Mars 9 months away and learn to work our way around the challenges of space.
Go to a speech therapist!
We need to create something like fotonic shielding and anti gravity, befor exploring space. But the most important thing, is world peace and transending from a type 0 to a type 1 civilization. If we whant to explore space we as a kind must act like one and even set a side our ignorant differencis. Space is menkinds goal for guarantee of our futur existence!
Build general AI, ask it to do your example for a 10 in your hardness scale
Moon gravity have great reason for life on earthe. We can`t change it.
I really tried, but the accent is abysmal, CRATOOOOOORS AAAAAAAARGH.
I just came by to give a thumb up, even though i disagree with your future predictions, it is good sci-fi.
do you think the environmentalist will say "hay, stop polluting the moon"?

Coal stock

Coal is extracted from the ground by coal mining, either underground by shaft mining, or at ground level by open pit mining extraction.

Coal is primarily used as a solid fuel to produce electricity and heat through combustion. World coal consumption was about 7.25 billion tonnes in 2010 The price of coal increased from around $30.00 per short ton in 2000 to around $150.00 per short ton as of September 2008. In early 2015, it was trading near $56/ton.
