About: HOW TO FILE A MINING CLAIM !! Lode and Placer. ask Jeff Williams
This is just as bad as getting a mortgage..I think I'll just pop open the claim marker and call who's on the claim and ask if I can poke around
check out my chanel https://youtu.be/nNcqio8zPPI
alot easier here in Australia as all land plots are on computer, at mines department. just tell then in office which you need, for prospecting claim pay $300 for administration, then about $8 per hector per years rent of the plot. then pay land rates for the plot to local shire office. once that is done you wait 6 -8 months before it becomes yours alone, mean time the claim is open for anyone to go on it. for them 6-8 months. A computer is needed at all times here. when out prospecting that shows, all open or active claims. and it shows you if you are on a live claim or a pending claim. so no excuse if caught on a active claim https://youtu.be/nNcqio8zPPI
Quick question...I just got assay results almost 1/4 oz Au and 6 grams silver per ton. BUT it's sulphide ore. Is there any way this can be profitable for a guy with a shovel or would it be best suited for the big boys with dozers etc?
I have heard that you can file a placer claim over a load claim or cross over its lines?
Is this true?
There are a lot of creek beds below hard rock mines that those guys have no interest in messing with that have trace panning gold in.
Awesome thanks for the brain explosion I knew u were a chevy man ya boy and yes ur going to get wet
gps huh , will my I phone do that ??
Thanks, this was exactly the information I needed to expanded my golden dream. Appreciate you!
Worst guide ever Jeff. Yo missed the important local stuffs
Tried filing a claim and found out at BLM office it was already claimed. Went back to area I wanted to claim and couldn’t see any markers till I climed up high and saw 2 or3 corners that you couldn’t see down low. Never did see a location marker
That was a great video on filing a claim. Thank you very much. One thing - I was a land surveyor in my youth and we worked in places where the ground was so rocky and mineralized that if we tried to use a 2X2 we would be lucky to have anything left by the time we drove it in. Use a steel pipe? Thanks again for all your videos.
New viewer here.... I have to say that this is totally distracting. Maybe yelling at the camera is what got you your subscribers, but holy cow please stop! I had to change my volume 14 times during this video and I really wanted to actually watch the content that this video has. I searched for this information that your video has, but there are so many times that all I hear is yelling. I think to myself, why is he yelling? Am I missing something? Or is this guy just yelling through the whole video, and I can skip over to the next person on youtube that can explain what I searched for without all the unnecessary yelling at the camera? I feel like this talent could be unlocked and exploited through other means rather than yelling at the camera. I spent my time ranting here, which means I care about what you have to say... Why not make it easier for everyone to listen to?
I'm sure in Canada will be similar, paper, paper and more, u right a little bit complicated by myself I think to much, I need someone 👍, but u explained very well 😎.......and after 1 day I'm watching again this video I write anything just for have a basic idea, now I'm at 75% ready to go. Thanks Jeff
Just about anyone can file a location notice with the county and BLM, and that “claimant” will receive an instrument number and serial number - However - it does not mean that the filing is valid. Novices &/or unscrupulous sellers can "overfile" any mineral property where a senior property owner has clearly established previous ownership, and then offer that "overfiling" for sale to the public. What do you do then?
Can you set up a camp on the claim property and is there a time limit?
This is GOLDen
Thank you Jeff for the information. I found a closed placer mine very close to our house. I wonder if the BLM has all of the info I need since it was already filed with them before
Thanks a zillion Jeff! I had been sitting on the fence considering whether to file a claim for thundereggs, and was completely flummoxed. Your video actually made it look easy. “If this crazy miner guy with a skeleton friend can do it, I can! “ Well, I did, and now have two claims. Thundereggs and Chrysocolla with gold possibly. Thanks again!
Cody's fun and kewl , yet plz don't make dangerious stuff ; it's not safe , it's not stable , it will go boom if the wind slams a door , go boom if the temperature changes 4 degrees ( I think ) , go boom if it's dropped or struck , it's like dancing with the devil , plz plz plz don't try this at home.!
Thanks for the info!
