About: HO scale Walthers Cornerstone Coal mine and the track plan
Do you still have your 22 radius e-z track?
you could make the "water heater section" a module on casters.
maybe put some latches or whatever to lock it in place when in place for RR operations.
keep up the good work.
hi, Sparky thanks for the difference in track code knew about code 83 for main lines but not the tie color difference. As for your simple plan for your water heater sounds good on paper, hope you thought about how big of space they will need when they are 2 to install it also your wiring to have an easy contact on tracks since you cant have both ends of it permanently sawdered
Thanks i learn something about the code
Ah! Trains or Hot water Mmmmmmmmm .....TRAINS .....
Things are looking great on the layout, nice work!
The backdrop on the shelf behind you in the office(?) looks awesome, did you paint that or buy it someplace?
I've been wanting to put a shelf layout above the desk in my office and would love to have a backdrop as nice as that one!
Just something I feel:
A thank you all for helping Sparky

LAYOUT LOOKING GOOD
hi sparky.. you're making great progress too bad about the section near the water heater... but it sounds like you have a great plan to solve the issue.. "Adapt & Overcome".. thanks for sharing.. vinny
Great to have a plan brother!!
Great update man, layout is coming nicely!!!!
Nice job sparky! Can't wait for the next one.
Wow! Layout seems huge!
Thanks for the update. The layout is coming along nicely.
Tip for you Sparky adjustment on the radius 22 to 24 because those big boy engines will be hard going around the curve. I just learn about that the other day! If you take the 22 radius. Mark the outside of the track cause it's a 24 radius. Use the flextrack on the curves. You want a nice smooth turn for your engines. A 22 will sometimes throw it off track!
Keep up the good work mate, a pain with that water meter thingy but i'm sure all will work out well. Cheers.
Great update and really enjoyed it.
