Did you know?

Coal is the official state mineral of Kentucky.

Gregory is going to live again! First coal should be September 2019
Good job Loza - I have been looking for stuff on the old mine and stumbled across this. I swung the old girl many a time over about a 5 year period up to the time I left in Oct. 2002. I was part of the reclamation crew on the dozers but spent a lot of time on 24 over the last few years. Best job I ever had - the dragline was sweet to operate. I'll never forget it.
Great video. I did my time as a sparkie at Gregory and spent many a downday on brushes and lights etc. Sadly the shut never fully completed and finally the plug to H08 sub pulled about 3 years ago.  Great trip down memory lane. Thankyou.        Bob

G'day Loz, nice work mate. I proud to say I did my time at Gregory. The industry's changed a lot, we don't have anywhere near as much fun as we used to anymore, but that's the way it goes. Good to see your still liven the dream - rock on!
