Almost all the men in my family have worked the mines of southern West Virginia since the mines were opened the exception are a few uncle's and cousins, and I'm thinking about moving up there with all my family and working in the mines
I’m a 4 th generation miner , and a vet . Who fought in the gulf war , I go everyday in these old holes to work !! This song still puts a tear in my eye , because it feels like our fellow country men are against us . Hey , I’m just trying to make a decent living for my wife and kids ! Same as my great grand dad did ,and his son and his son , and myself have done ! Our blood is deep for this great nation ,we call home , we love it !! So please quit trying to take our way of life and just mosey along , you will get hurt ! May God bless these United States of America , we will die for her to prosper !!
My dad was a miner but he got cancer and couldn’t work anymore I love West Virginia but we moved to North Carolina witch I hate North Carolina I just want to go back to West Virginia 😔
