@Shane D. Perhaps you can provide us with the non-scientific explanation as to how barometric pressure, air quantities, mine layout and design, depth of coverage and mining techniques has an effect on a particular coal mine's propensity for spontaneous combustion.
this mae daaad, he's thar best
Boutal eyeno...mynin ko.
i'm no burger man
What an amazing show this is, i didn't think i would bother watching it at first but gave it a try.
This turned out to be one of my favourite TV shows in recent years, i liked the music in the show as well.
@shanedlfc Mining isnt a science? smh Explain 4 steps into underground coal mining that arent scientific or physics.. I hate people who speak on something they know nothing about..
Love the show from West Virginia all hard working men and great southern manners.Pauline Ireland.
The soundtrack?? is fantastic....
@mightygood1 that n\one dude was shit talking
@shanedlfc mining is a applied science.
@badgerattoadhall What has that got to do with anything I said?.
@mightygood1 dude there are more shaft coal mines in the US , a lot more so there will be more injurys
@dayne683 "poor managerial skills... arguement then sacking on the spot" how is that poor i have Seen that several times & yes I have been sacked on the spot. In most states employees can be fired for any or no reason. Nothing poor about management he violated the authority & was fired, nothing out of the norm." no safety glasses/ dust masks" i dont think you have to wear the mask, & they might not be required to have glasses on in all jobs in the mine. did factory not always glasses
Does anyone know if There will be a Season 2? I really hope so.
@shanedlfc I can understand them. Course you probally ain't from Dixie ya damn yankee!
Im sorry but i cannot comprehend what half of these people are saying lol mining is a science! Ehhh sorry man but its not
@MegaArchiebald In Australia it is a dangerous job underground its just that we put more controls in place and manage the hazards. And yes I do work in the mines in Aus and I'm 4th gen underground miner. Underground injurys happen In Aus all the time.
this is the most pathetic example of coal mining i've ever seen. a science to do it safely?? i didnt see anything safe in the movie.+ poor managerial skills... arguement then sacking on the spot.. no safety glasses/ dust masks, " people do get hurt and you have to accept that"... you are an idiot mate!!!
