Why not replace it with cleaner, safer renewable resources? That would create many many jobs.
Oh yeah the Republicans want to destroy our country and world.
When it comes to the miners, can't feel sorry for someone that knowingly and willingly knows the risks, circumvents the ability to avoid them, and later gets the full effect of their choices. They want a slow painful death, it's their right as a free person.
There is some serious animal cruelty taking place in in that church.
From coal to crazy Christians im in
Breaths coal dust in the day and cigarette smoke at night! Yeah I'd say you will "feel it in your breathing".
will never cease to amaze me that the people who voted for trump (his base, so to speak) are the people that will suffer the worst under his presidency. ever wonder why the american education system is awful? its because they want your education level to be on par with the many men and women in this documentary. vote away your own health, education, and future, all to the sound of thunderous applause.
LOL at the church service. Brilliant.
God bless these wonderful people. I prey for them.
Trump hates these people and they don't even know it. YET.
Mountain music. Love it!. 7:56 such a beauty.
love when the old dad sings dark as a dungeon
So basically the coal mines companies own these people??
How is this even legal?
Oh yeah i forgot, the US is owned by private companies
No sign of water , English mines used to have a lot of water
The miners wear helmets but no respirator or eye protection? I know they're bulky and controlling the dust is more effective but, it seems that improving on both would help the folks underground. It's business as usual in the USA, profits over people. Trump isn't helping. Unionize again.
WOW, You all ran straight back to the 30s. Talk about bad timing. The World is moving into the Graphene era.
As a texan I'm so grateful for subtitles for heavy accents. I wish these could be turned on for real life.
Gas is not cheaper than coal because I will show you a power bill today and one from before gas 😡
Omg i want retract my last comment. I hadn't watched up until that blasted churc. Oh man those people are fucked up.... Okay we got it your faith in god keeps you from getting bitten. But don't you think god would prefer that you should treat his creatures with respect instead of agitating them by shaking them and stepping on them..just to prove your shallow point?? Anyone with a working brain knows god exists. So please stop stepping all over god's creations. Dick!!!!
I got nothing but love and respect for these die hard men that do this gruelingly hard labor everyday. My grandfather was a coal miner and died too young of black lung. However before that happened he moved his family out to california where he started a lucrative autobody business. God bless your soul granpa.
