My great grandfather goat cash and my uncle john Cartwright worked at mine 21 I go vist jt and the awesome guys at the museum.
I work with someone who’s dad lost his life in this explosion I’m a miner myself above ground miner I respect anyone who could go three miles deep in the earth I pray for all miners
I knew about all of those 13 miners, my cousin is married to a brother of a couple of them. I remember them going to the mine and the long wait. The mine wasn't very far away. We heard the explosion when it happened. Never will forget that awful sound. Jarred the walls.
I went it is amazing! Mr, Shadrick is a really nice man! He loves telling the stories and he is great at doing just that!
