About: Coal miners in West Virginia find hope in Trump

Coned by the con man tRump. He know coal is like the vcr, tRump just wanted their votes.
And if we are honest with ourselves then we can all agree that, for example the closure of 2 power plants in Adams County Ohio had a lot to do with a great number layoffs in the coal mining industry, primarily jobs in West Virginia. So, blaming a particular President is not very sound thinking.
Solar energy sources are becoming more and more affordable and accessible to the general population. And as technological advancements in alternative sources of energy continues to push through, the world in general will continue to depend less and less on Coal. That is just a fact, regardless of what President in office promises what ever to whom ever. Unfortunately more and more large U.S. Corporations are moving the bulk of the manufacturing operations abroad (cheap labor), so I doubt any of them are considering any type of serious long term investment in West Virginia. With that being said, I do hope that the citizens of such a naturally beautiful state as West Virginia are not forgotten about.
These are the dumbest people on this planet trump continue to use these fools so sad!!
Coal is outdated.
Didn't Trump also promise that he would also bring manufacturing jobs from China back to West Virginia? If this is true, how come that hasn't happened? Joe Manchin suggested that he do it to help his state.
1:14 I can't understand a single word. Luckily there are subtitles.

Hick trumptard will get black lung, then aca will pay for his meds and care. Pathetic. Stupid hick.
I would give my eyeteeth for a job at Warrior Met coal mine in Brookwood Alabama. I have Applied every year for several years trying to get a job . Only to be turned down Each and every time.! And mostly because I don’t know anyone that has any pull and I don’t have a trade such as welding or being electrician.
I don’t like trump but sorry the problem here isn’t him this time it’s all y’all want to keep knowing is coal and delusional over the fact that it’s coming back even though it’s not
I hope Trump keeps his promises to his voters. Politicians dont have a good record of keeping promises.
Im surprised that no coal miner has been accused of racism in the U.S.
He is but a lad of 31.
It’s amazing how many people are like sheep and easily led astray. Trump doesn’t care, why can’t you all see this? He keeps saying the economy is doing well. Yet, when the Fed raised interest rates, the Stock Market crashed and still hasn’t found the bottom yet. If the economy was doing so well, an interest rate hike wouldn’t have caused such a sharp decline in the Market. It would drop a bit, but not crash. To date, as far as I know, he hasn’t opened the coal mines, so why do you people still cling to him?
Coal is coming back, they can’t find enough miners to pass a drug test. So sad for the people of WV. That’s what happens when you take people’s livelihood away.
How can a news channel report false news do your research. Hilary didn't say that I've seen the actual footage they cut out the sentence before that.
I've been trying to search and find out if these coal mines have opened back up with no luck..... Does anyone know the current situation?
These people need to adapt and change. Not expect the government to protect their jobs.
Trump has helped bring 200,000 new jobs in coal back to West Virginia ! In trump we trust . USA USA USA
