About: Coal Miners Headache

Every time i used to hit me head, I'd say" yep, that mountains still up there!" I loved and I miss it, 2 break belt and power moves on 110ft centers and 48in belt. We had fun, fun, fun till gas took our coal jobs away....
Every time I got off the elevator I would walk straight into a sold wall everyone else would duck walk under and everyday I would walk right into it. Same thing coming and going into the dinner hole but I'd catch a roof bolt
Love to keep the lights but thanks to Obama administration over 360.000 jobs are gone and now it's back to truck in for me
I hate a roof bolt down the back a whole lot worse than that. Make you flop and cuss and really piss you off.
Classic! Hubby is low seam mining here in Australia with whole team of Americans, a lot of them West Virginians.
I love location & humor!! I'm coal work 4 MSHA.
Great vid
i was a miner during the '89 strike, and my father, both my grandfathers, and even their fathers and grandfathers have retired from union west virginia coal mines. i have more respect for a union coal miner than almost any other critter on earth. my hats off to the umwa.
which mine did you work at?
great vid, yea i've heard all the crappy stuff that goes on in mine, but i'd still love to get my miner's cards and find a job in a coal mine, because i believe that its a tough but rewarding job. God bless all past, present and future coal miners, the nation was built on the sweat of your brow.
what mine in logan?looks familiar...
God bless all the brave miners in this world. They do what most men wouldn't do. They risk their lives every day to provide for their families. They deserve our respect. For those of you bashing coal miners, I suggest you think about who provides the electric you use. If not for the coal industry, our electric bills would outrageous even compared to what they are now.
our seem is 5.5 meters thick and i still managed to bang my head on a roof bolt.grrr
That is a fact, boy let me tell ya, Nevada hard rock ain't no different!
