By the time renewables gets to the level it can provide reliable power for an affordable price, will there be any manufacturing industry left here at all?
Best form a committee to solve the energy/environment problem. When the committee realises that renewables can't meet baseload power requirements, best form another committee, that should help.
We are not a wealthy country anymore. Morons like this women saying this are the reason why we are not. If you are so worried about the Queensland environment, stop selling parts of it to Chinese investors.
We have the technology to build clean coal plants why don't we? There is technology that can turn coal into cleaner burning and biodegradable oil, why don't we do that? China is doing it with our coal no doubt, how about the Australian government starts being smart about our future for a bloody change .
Oh yeah reduce immigration a trickle and no welfare for new immigrants for 10 years no matter the reason. No citizenship until you have had a job for 10 years,. End rant
