About: Burngullow English China Clay - Quarry Mineral Railway Cornwall 2012
Lucky it's not all gone now.
A lot changed when French company Imetal bought ECC - English China Clay in 1999, changing the name to Imerys.
Rail traffic has decreased massively. Now only one rake, or set of wagons are required to supply clay from the remaining quarry sites to Fowey docks for export. The Par harbour branch is defunct.
not English,,, it is Cornish....
None of that left in burngullow now
Is this an old video or just made to look old..
Walked the dogs along there and through the buildings and pits many a time. Been in the buildings where that chiminey is and there was a boat stashed in there. Access can be found at the burngullow building end on the op side of the road jump over the gate amd walk along there
Shame about the old Burngullow buildings tho. There is an interesting place beside the line between Burngullow and Blackpool.
A nice video, I live near here and have explored loads of this myself, deja vu great stuff!
