A new coal project is in the works here in Nova Scotia too. Really sad to see that NEW coal ventures are on the books anywhere in the world, really. And with our exponentially increasing energy demands it's difficult to see how a soft transition to renewables will ever accnt for the majority of our needs.
As a foreigner and never having been to England, I had no idea how beautiful is this part of the country.
What a dissapointment and an ecological tragedy it would be if coal mining vandalism were to ruin this piece of paradise.
Its better than nuclear!!!
Now now now, whats more important? Nature and wildlife? Our ecological heritage? Or corporate profits? You silly people...of course its the profits....
This is Brexit for you, after leaving the EU environment laws will no longer apply and there will be a digging frenzy
