I'm born and raised in johnson county, in van lear to be exact. Lots of old miles just half mile or so from me. I'm also very family with all surrounding area, this video looks possibly be up cow creek in floyd Co.?
Kentucky West Virginia Ohio A lot of people was born and raised on the coal mining industry. In the tri state area. Very few still left today! But the reclaimed land that's left has made for some great hunting and trapping habitat !!!
I’m originally from Floyd Co. in Eastern Kentucky. I’ve seen sights like this before. My nieces husband still works in the coal mines in eastern Kentucky. Enjoyed your video. 👍👍

There are a lot of old strip mines to the north of me here Todd. Most of them are closed now. But there are thousands of acres of them.
