Awesome find , really neat place ,the turbine was really cool, some really interesting things left inside , thanks for sharing your adventure ❗️🤘
Those were steam powered engines that powered those massive fan blades. It provided fresh air for all the miners in the nearby mines. Those big doors was to control air flow. Go back in the winter, there are a few cool items outside to check out.

Pretty cool old place. PA has so many awesome places like that. I sure do miss it😞
