About: Abandoned horses of the Kentucky coal mines.

So sad... I want to start a sanctuary for these horses... large chunk of grass pasture... and vetting, feed, and visitors can come pet, visit, learn about the horses... but they could live out their days not being abandoned again! Anyone want to help with this?
Who where there owners? The mining company? And how does the company think about these horses on there property?
What part of Kentucky is this? I live in Henderson.
