Unsung heroes. They got nothing from it. They brought heat , and energy to the masses, and what did they get in return?

i was born and raised in a patch town by way of northeast pennsylvania. these photos are a treasure.
They were all one color. Black
I have the utmost respect for all those brave miners.I can't think of a rougher job.
That last guy at the end was not a fan of having his picture taken.
